A lot of us have changed our politics, but it takes a long time to turn that particular ship around. Even as a mid-era GenX’r, most of my peers and certainly most of the younger people I know are tired of being told the politics of the Middle East and Isreal are “complicated” because we know it is just a cover for the aged politicians that our forebears put into place 50 years ago are striving so hard to maintain. Its why we elected a president and Senate to enact stricter fuel economy on the cars we do use and encourage greater energy independence and proliferation of EV vehicles and alternative energy sources. Unfortunately as long as there is an opposition party who wants nothing more than to keep burning oil for the sole purpose of destroying the planet and enriching their political leaders while backdooring $$ directly to the Saudis, so long as they can roll coal and Carolina Squat their bro dozers, its an uphill battle draggin them along agains their will.

Are American’s not allowed to dislike something a company did, as well as dislike something their government did, too? Why assume that they are all okay with the agreement but not okay with this. I don’t know any Americans who are happy about the way their government is working or the deals it has with Saudi oil.
